Music

Music has always been a passion of mine. While I spent most of my life playing percussion, I’ve also explored many other fascinating instruments, including 6- and 12-string electric and acoustic guitars, 4- and 5-string basses, piano, xylophone, and even a pan flute!

In this section, I’d like to share a few of my recordings. First, Diablo’s Tristram town theme on guitar, followed by MapleStory’s Ellinia town theme on piano, and finally, MapleStory’s Orbis town theme on xylophone. I've included a few other miscellaneous items such as my first song, and a basic metronome that I've wired together.

I thought I'd experiment with MuseScore in hopes of learning how to songwrite. I've performed live as both a percussionist and as a bassist, but this time I wanted to organize a song together with some old band members remotely.

I wanted to make a metronome using an Arduino that allowed me to see 16th notes. My first iteration used an 8-bit shift register, but I ran out of transistors to help power the LEDs.
